Saturday, May 3 was a day full of events for students to celebrate Mayfest, whether they wanted to bounce around on inflatables or watch a famous band, cook savory food or watch their peers face off in a cooking competition.
Last night, May 1, Mayfest kicked off with this semester's Dance Concert and the annual Mayfest Bonfire. The Dance Concert, which has a second performance tonight, showcases 25 dances, with 77 dancers and the technical skills of an eight person tech crew, reports the program, designed by first-year Miriam Griffin.
The Simon's Rock prom took place 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, as part of Mayfest, and approximately 100 students showed up to dance and celebrate.
