The low down of the alumni panel: Life after Simon's Rock

On Halloween in the Kellogg Music Center, a diverse group of eight former rockers presented a panel open to parents and students. These rockers, who are on the same journey as us, just a bit further along, answered the crowd's questions to give insight into life after Simon's Rock To start off, the eight introduced themselves: Keith Brierley-Bowers, class of '80, Penny Brierley-Bowers, class of '81, Matt Strassler, class of '81, Jesse Fecker, class of '92, Angela Labrador, class of '96, Sara Katzoff, class of '97, Reggie Greene, class of '00 and Nang Maung, class of '01.

Robyn Ochs kicks off Diversity Day with keynote address

Students and faculty filled the Alumni Performance Center Tuesday night to hear Robyn Ochs, a bisexual activist from Massachusetts, kick off Diversity Day with her keynote interactive lecture, "Beyond Binaries: Identity and the Sexual Spectrum." Ochs was selected as the keynote speaker following recommendation by a student under the pretense of a student approval providing the best credentials.

Annual Phonathon ran last week

If you stopped by Blodgett any evening last week, you would have seen the annual Phonathon event taking place downstairs-recognizable by the occasional "woo-hoo!" breaking through the murmur of phone conversations when one of the volunteers managers to get a donation.
