The Simon's Rock prom took place 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, as part of Mayfest, and approximately 100 students showed up to dance and celebrate.

It occurred in the Kilpatrick Athletic Center gym, and the theme was Moulin Rouge Masquerade. The outfits ranged from full on prom dresses to pictures taped all over one person's body. Anything from jeans to sparkle party dresses was appropriate!

Free costume jewelry was provided, as well as foods for everyone—cake to veggies and chex mix.

The disc jockey played a mixture of hip hop and pop music, and students could enjoy themselves both on and off the dance floor. "It was so much fun putting it all together," first-year and member of the prom committee James Barden said.
