Greene, a sixth grade mathematics teacher, said he "looked for a school with a similar philosophy, and a similar style of thinking."
As for the transfer process, Anne O'Dwyer represented the new Winn Commons, unavailable to the panelists when they were at Simon's Rock, which provides information and resources to Simon's Rock students and assists with transferring,
A third flavor of question pertained to student life at Simon's Rock, one of which was "How does one deal with the Simon's Rock Bubble?"
This time the diversity of the group led to a range of answers.
Angela Labrador, current PhD candidate at the University of Massachussetts, Amherst Angela Labrador, who worked outside of campus, spent a semester in Nicaragua, and lived off campus sophomore year, along with Strassler, agreed that "a bubble like Simon's Rock is permeable."
On the other hand, Greene and others said "everything is a bubble…what matters is what you did here. You need to find yourself, and find your comfort zone".
As a closing note, the panelists gave their best advice for a current rocker. It all came down to enjoying our time here, and getting the most out of the experience, since as Greene said, we "will never have an experience like this again."

My wife is a graduate of The Rock, class of 84, and I have several friends that are graduates as well. The one thing they all agree on is the level of education you get at Simon's Rock is legions beyond most other campuses. (Continued…)
